Prompt 1
Write a story about being abducted by aliens and taken away from this country or world. Who would you take with you? What would the interior of your spaceship look like? Would you try to stay or would you eagerly welcome abduction? (Thanks to longtime WUTI-ist Becka Olson!)
Prompt 2
What were your favorite songs from the 2000 era? Be a music critic and write about that era of pop music.
How it works
We write together in 20-minute sprints, starting at 7:30 p.m. Between sprints, we take 20-minute breaks to relax, drink and meet other writers. Running late? No worries — there are agendas at each table that can guide you on which phase of the evening you're arriving to.
